Secretary Tina Beaton has revealed Monymusk AFC have arranged talks with potential candidates to take over as Manager after Bradley Donald had to step down due to a career change, writes Tom Scott.
Monymusk are members of the Aberdeenshire AFA.
The onset of Covid prevented their former Manager from starting the season, but more importantly continuing the Club’s stature and progress – they have been going for just over 30 years!
Based in the Grampian area, Tina told me: “Due to the pandemic, we had to cancel a planned Sportsman’s Dinner celebrating 30 years.”
“Unfortunately, Bradley Donald’s change of shift patterns and career brought about his decision to stand down.”
“We had at least four friendlies planned, but they are on hold until a new Manager is appointed.”
“There have been applicants coming forward for the position.”
Tina’s husband, Neil, brought Cup success as Manager over an 8-year stint, and is now Club Chairman.
Keeping the family connection on a high, their sons also played for Monymusk AFC
