Sempy Treble Maintains Dynamo Title Charge

Alan Semple bagged a hat-trick as Castlemilk Dynamo kept up their charge for the Central Scottish Amateur League Division 1A title, writes Tom Scott.

Gavin MacLeod was also on target in Dynamo’s 4-1 victory over Bearsden AFC.

All roads lead now to Toryglen this Saturday afternoon (2pm), when a win against Steins Thistle will see Castlemilk win the championship.

That will see them go forward to play Oban Saints, promoted as Division 1B champions last October amid Covid-19, and at a time when officials were trying to complete the 2019-2020 campaign sponsored by Spark of Genius.

Thankfully, everyone’s patience has just about paid off.

Gartcosh United and Lesmahagow FC are joining Oban and Castlemilk Dynamo in the Premier Division next season.
