Clubs Complete Preparations For Summer League

Doune Castle Official Ian Sommerville has expressed his opinion on not only how his club, but others involved in the forthcoming Stirling Summer League will be feeling, writes Tom Scott.

The initial 4- Match Day fixtures have been released. He said “All the teams have now completed their mini pre-season preparations, and are looking forward both to taking part and renewing old acquaintances.”

“For most of the sides, this will be their first taste of competitive action in almost one full calendar year.”

“Taking part will stand all the participants well as they look forward to the real business of the 2021-2022 Season.”

“Dunblane Soccer Club won’t take part in the tournament’s first match day this Saturday, 12th June. Dunblane have reached the Semi- Final of the Caledonian League William Turner Challenge Cup, and will play Dumbarton Academy FP away.”

“The Stirling teams wish them well on their quest to reach the Final.”

“I’ll send the results to you after each round of results.”

Once again, on behalf of Scottish Amateur News, I thank Ian for his help and time giving us the information.
