Lie Out To Claim Derby Victory

Can Arthurlie F.C Amateurs build on their opening day 7-2 win against Glynhill Moorcroft when neighbours Neilston come calling in the Jimmy Marshall Cup this afternoon (Saturday), writes Tom Scott.

‘Ton had a great first-day result of their own in beating St Conval’s 3-0, so today’s clash is well beyond bragging rights.

Opening results were Busby 2, Glenburn 5, Cardross 1, Lochgilphead Red Star 4, Inverclyde 3, Parkhall 4.

A number of fixtures were postponed: Dunoon v Tarbert, Hillington v Carlton YMCA, Motherwell Thistle v Strathaven and Rutherglen v Kings Park Rangers.

The tournament started on Saturday 22nd May, and is due to conclude by 30th June. That could change given opening-day postponements.
