A change of scenery is good for everyone – in a footballing sense it can mean hard work, writes Tom Scott.
This Saturday, St Joseph’s AFC players will head to Erskine Beach in the latest part of their back-to-training work.
St Joes Boss Alastair MacColl told me: “We have had seven-eight excellent sessions and the turn outs have been great.
“Erskine Beach will be a wee change for them. Its all about preparing for the William Turner Cup clash against Dumbarton Academy FP AFC on 19th May.”
It will be a busy few months for the Caledonian League First Division Club – fully intent on promotion – and celebrating 50 years.
