Dickinson Looks To Add Quality To Kilsyth

With the return of Ammies football on the horizon, new Kilsyth Rovers Boss Olly Dickinson has set out his stall for the upcoming season, writes Tom Scott.

The Club are on the lookout for new players to add to an already talented squad – with a focus on quality not quantity being the way forward.

Said Olly “We’ve had some fantastic responses to our recruitment drive so far – I’m really happy with the lads we brought in last time around – but we are also losing some very talented lads to the American University system this year – so we need to add in even more.”

“I said last year about creating a Club that gives lads opportunities and that is exactly what I plan to do this year. We’ll have a top-class set up – from fitness coaches and physios, to filmed matches and GPS data to help you understand your game better.”

“Our Coaching will all be to a professional standard – advised by some of the biggest clubs out there – whilst off the pitch we will continue to keep costs as low as possible to ensure that the game is accessible to all”

“I have no doubt we will be a pleasant surprise for anyone who joins us – in terms of the way we approach training and our attitude to player development. I want to see boys come to us, progress and then move on – nothing makes me more proud than seeing on of our players go to Juniors or get a scholarship abroad”
