Kilsyth Rovers are delighted to announce the appointment of a new Manager following Kevin Furay’s decision to step back from the role for the upcoming season, writes Tom Scott.
Olly Dickinson will take up the role, with his Coaching team being confirmed over the next few weeks.
Kevin leaves the club in a significantly better state than when he took over. Under his leadership The Rovers’ enjoyed its best period of success and a long unbeaten run, whilst off the pitch the Club has developed a strong financial model that ensures it is in good hands for years to come.
“I want to thank Kevin for everything he has done for the Club and for me over the last couple of years. It takes a dedicated bloke to take over and run a Football Club at the best of times, but not many would have taken on The Rovers’ given our uncertain future. Kevin had no complaints, no issues, he just knuckled down and got on with turning us around.”
“It was a pleasure to work alongside a great friend and a great guy, and I look forward to continuing his good work.” Said Dickinson.
“He will always be welcomed back at The Rovers’ and will be sorely missed by everyone connected with the Club.”
