Cup Finalists Recruiting New Coaches

Semsa FC Head Coach Andrew Shaw is looking to recruit forward-thinking coaches to join him as they look forward to a potential Cup Final in the Strathclyde Saturday Morning Amateur Football League, writes Tom Scott

Although their domestic campaign had already been declared Null and Void due to the pandemic, League officials are optimistic of rearranging three Finals – including the Only Sport Ltd sponsored Presidents Cup, where Semsa will go head-to-head with Port Glasgow Athletic.

Andrew revealed: “We have a variety of opportunities available.”

“I am looking to fill the coaching team. We’ve got the potential Cup Final once football restarts, and a very strong squad going into the season.”

“I just need to compliment that with good coaches. I am on the UEFA B Licence, so it’s a chance to work with me.”

Semsa, founded in 1990, train and play at Toryglen in Glasgow’s South Side.

Training is normally a Wednesday Evening, and games every Saturday Morning.
