The achievement may be 7 years old, but former Haghill AFC Manager Paul Hughes and his backroom staff won’t forget their Sunday League silverware haul in season 2014-2015, writes Tom Scott.
Brilliant Haghill lifted no fewer than four trophies in the Airdrie and Coatbridge Sunday Amateur Football League.
The amazing collection consisted of a Premier Division Championship title, League Cup, Knock-Out Cup and the Billy Harkness Memorial Trophy.
Paul is currently involved with the new A and B team set-up at Haghill- St Roch, whose domestic fixtures within the SSMAFL were scrapped for this season, but if restrictions are eased sufficiently, a Cup Competition may yet be introduced.
The SAFN photograph, kindly provided by Paul Hughes, shows the four-trophy haul.
