Glasgow Saints FC Sporting Director Mr Kyle Burgess reveals to Scottish Amateur Football News an overview of the set-up and strong community involvement, writes Tom Scott

“Glasgow Saints F.C. is an Amateur Football Club, founded in 2020 with the goal of helping to combat food poverty and isolation within the local Community. G.S.F.C are committed to playing football in the true spirit of the game, ensuring a competitive approach to games is always underlined by the true values of sport; respect, equality and fairness.”

“G.S.F.C is opposed to discrimination of any kind.”

“Using the power of the beautiful game, the club will promote socially conscious activities and initiatives to help those in need; whilst encouraging inclusion and involvement at all levels.”

“The Club will harness people’s passion and energy into fundraising for local food banks, hosting community kitchen events and supporting Community-based projects throughout our city.”

“We aim to use our enthusiasm and love for sport to create positive change by bringing people together, encouraging positive relationships and promoting physical and mental wellbeing.”
