SAFN Chief Writer Tom Scott takes a weekend look at some of the Amateur Football Clubs.

Uddingston Anvil AFC are mourning the sad passing of ex-player and Club Captain Jim Hattie.

Tributes have poured in for Mr Hattie, who played in central defence and was a stalwart at the Club, who were established in 1979, and are members of the Spark of Genius Central Scottish AFL.

After a lengthy delay due to Covid-19 restrictions, Dumbarton AFC have finally been able to make a four-figure donation to their local Charity at Robin House.

The sum of £1060 was raised by the Glasgow District Saturday Morning League Club from climbing Ben Lomond.

St David’s Over-35s are running a distance of 647 km this month to raise money for Back Onside.

AS Airdrie have teamed up with Clubwin to give followers a chance to help raise funds.
