What was the attraction about becoming Edinburgh University Head Coach?

“Attraction of the University is first the pool of potential players available to a Coach and second the First-Class facilities. I not only get to Coach in Amateur Football, but also Scottish University Football.”

What has been the best highlight to date?

“Highlight for me was the Year we first got promotion to the Premier. Best squad of players I have coached.”

How does the Student Player Recruitment Work?

“Recruitment of players is through a series of trials run in September and January each year. We usually get around 200 players wanting to join the four teams in the Football Club each September.”

What are your Season ambitions?

“The Season’s ambition is Promotion. We are looking to have a team competing in the LEAFA Premier League, so need to be moving back towards the top League again.”

What is the best prank or wind up you have seen in Football?

“Try to avoid them as usually aimed at me.”

Teams and Players to watch for when the LEAFA start back?

“Team to watch is Tollcross. Very good squad who always play good football.”
