United Offer Wide- Ranging Support to Charity Groups

Over the past few months during the global pandemic, I have been honoured to highlight the tremendous work being carried out by Scottish Amateur Football Clubs in the pursuit of helping numerous Charity Groups – and today is no exception, writes Tom Scott.

UB United AFC, who play in the SSMAFL Premier Division sponsored by Sammy’s Italian Kitchen, have thrown themselves into local (Glasgow East End) and City-Wide projects.

As our photographs show they have been busy, and Official Shaun Milne told me: “One picture has us collecting biscuits from McVitties to go to Barnardo’s Community Support Group.”

“Another has the Van fully loaded with Toys for the Stepford Appeal for local kids in need of Xmas presents.”

“Our night time Photograph has myself, Jonathan Baxter, Paul Smith and Sandy Woods in Glasgow City Centre giving out the afore mentioned Bags to the Homeless along with Kayla McLaughlin (not in the photo)

Well done everyone, and thanks again to Shaun Milne for sharing his News and Photographs with us.
