Caley League Moves To Stage 3 Fixture Plan

Caledonian League Clubs will now move into Stage 3 of their fixture programme – meaning all League games have been scrapped for the 2020-2021 season, writes Tom Scott.

At the latest General Members Zoom Meeting, Match Secretary Gus Yuile. confirmed the League was now behind the timetable for Stages 1 and 2 due to the pandemic.

In Stage 3, he will endeavour to run a Cup Competition – format to be confirmed – once Government restrictions are eased sufficiently enough for a return to football. Safety remains a primary concern.

I can reveal the Caledonian Executive Committee have started planning for 2021-2022 and hope to start on 7th August.

League Fees: Paid for 2020-2021 will be carried forward to 2021-2022 having been approved by the Executive Committee.

SAFA Affiliation Fees and Public Liability Insurance paid for each club by the Caledonian League for season 2020-2021 are non-refundable.
