This game was one of Joe’s biggest highlights running Motherwell Villa AFC. They organised a game for one of their former players whose little girl had been diagnosed with Childrens Alzheimer’s
Said Joe: “I got all the lads together in horrible weather conditions and managed to play a team of ex-pros.”
“We played Dukla Pumpherston , and got our lads to bid to play. Every player bid a minimum of £50 to go towards the amazing cause.”
“We also had UFC Fighter Paul Craig and Bellator fighter Chris Bungard play to help raise money. The other good memory of this photo is Cameron McMillan , who played for us, but is sadly no longer with us. He played that night to help raise money for his niece.. We raised over £3000 in one night!”
