Amateur Football Referee Plans Charity Fund-Raiser

Peter Leslie is preparing to switch from using a referee’s whistle and run for charity this month.

The Match Official explained “Nim Roy suggested I contact you regarding a bit of charity fundraising I am planning to do in January.”

“I’m planning to run 100Km in January to raise money for RMHC Glasgow.”

“I currently referee in the GDSFC (hence the connection with Nim), also the SECL, GGPL and the Colleges League. Having played for a number of years then taking up reffing after the boots were hung up, I was hoping you could give my wee challenge a plug on your platform.”

We have, Peter! And like everyone else, SAFN looks forward to hearing what the charity challenge will involve in due course.
