Danes Celebrate Winning Nine Goal Thriller

Doubles from Sean Lawrence and Ryan Driver helped Rothesay Brandane edge out Oban Saints AFC 5-4 in a thrilling Saturday friendly.

Co-incidentally, the remaining counter was an own goal – matched by Rothesay returning the favour and netting for Oban’s Central Scottish AFL squad, whose additional strikes came from James Ford (2) and Scott Maitland.

Meanwhile, the Oban Saints Greater Glasgow Premier AFL team managed to arrange a game against Campbeltown Pupils, who produced a good performance at the expense of the spirited visitors. Lee Allan and Liam Renton netted in Campbeltown’s 2-0 victory.
