Lomond Calling Time On Men’s Health Project Donations

Tonight (Sunday) at 10pm marks the deadline for Lomond Thistle taking welcome donations on behalf of Men’s Health Projects. Throughout last month, Thistle players participated in their annual “Movember” event, raising funds for the Movember Foundation.

If you missed my Exclusive on Thursday , Manager Kyle Graham told me “Kyle, Callum, Ali, Craig, Andrew, Steven, Logan and Ross grew out their mo’s. (some attempts better than others)

“Daniel, Stuart, Fraser and Craig participated in the ‘move for Movember’ – running 60km throughout the month – to signify the 60 men who we lose worldwide from suicide every HOUR!

“Donations can be made via our just giving –

Here is what the Movember Story is all
about:

“Our fathers, partners, brothers and friends are facing a health crisis, yet it’s rarely talked about. Men are dying too young. We can’t afford to stay silent. We are the leading Charity changing the face of men’s health. We know what works for men – and what doesn’t.”

“Prostate cancer, testicular cancer, mental health and suicide prevention – we ’are taking them all on. Since 2003, Movember has funded more than 1,250 men’s health projects around the world, challenging the status quo, and shaking up Men’s Health research.”
