Braehead Focus On Last Man Thriller

Braehead AFC are preparing for a thrilling finish to their latest Last Man Standing Competition. Only 11 people remain standing and I understand the winners’ pot will be in excess of £300. The previous competition was a great success and paid out £280 to Mark Crilly.

The GDSML club, founded in 2012,. could only manage one game on the opening day of the season would you believe that was 3rd October in a 4-2 defeat against East Kilbride AFC before Scottish Government restrictions were implemented once again.

Braehead had already taken plenty of positives from their warm-up games against Bishopton (4-2) and Moorpark (3-3).

Going further back into the summer, Braehead named Stu McLennan as their Player of the Year. Dale Dougan was voted Player’s Player of the Year and Jamie McKean finished Top Goalscorer.
