Player/ Manager/ Committee Member John Proctor (Twitter; @JProcto95157194), said: “We started up in January 2020, as a club designed to bring friends with varying levels of experience together to learn the game and enjoy playing it well. It’s been a steep learning curve for us all (committee, coaches and players) so far, and we’ve done well under circumstances which are far from normal. We’ve managed to build a strong squad and a brilliant group of lads, completed a full pre- season (some of which was delivered virtually over Zoom during lockdown), and we were improving from one friendly to the next during September and October.”

“I fully expect us to hit the ground running again when it’s safe to do so and build on the momentum we’ve created as we kick off our first competitive season as a club!”
