Oban Left To Rhu  Impact Of Paterson Hat-Trick

Jamie Paterson was the three-goal hero for Rhu Amateur Football Club in another very-welcomed 4-2 friendly win against Oban Saints AFC on Saturday.

Douglas Black converted a penalty for the homesters, and one of the Oban goals also counted from the 12-yard mark!

The Argyll and Bute Tier-2 guidelines, which permits local friendlies, allowed  Campbeltown Pupils to host Rothesay. Both teams showed a number of changes, but the visitors’  still managed to impress with fine link-up play in a 3-1 victory.

Young Campbeltown Pupils striker Scott Souden found the net again, but worryingly had to visit hospital later after sustaining a bad arm injury.

I have not had a fresh update on Scott since the information was sent through. Hopefully, that indicates good news!
