Two wins and a draw have boosted the November spirits of Continental AFC as they await the new Aberdeenshire AFA campaign. Saturday’s 5-2 victory against Glentanar Reflex at Webster Park, Springwells, followed a 5-3 win over Middlefield, and the 3-3 draw with Postal ALC earlier this month.
The triple run of friendlies replaced back-to-back postponements in October.
Aberdeenshire have pushed back the commencement of next season from this coming weekend until (at least) January 30, 2021.
What we do know is Continental AFC will take their place in Division 1 East alongside some well-known North-based clubs:
AC Mill Inn, Alford, Beacon Rangers, *Blackburn or Glendale,
Cammachmore, Ellon Thistle, Faithlie United, Great Western United,
Halliburton, Kairnhill United, Kemnay, Kintore, and Westdyke.
*Indicates a Play-Off between the two teams.
