Glenvale Launch Social Media Initiative To Boost Sponsors

Glenvale Amateurs Manager John Kelly has revealed a new initiative aimed at boosting publicity for their sponsors on Social Media platforms is paying off in great numbers.

The Greater Glasgow Premier AFL club were quick to recognise there is added pressure on finding cash to cover monthly bills during Covid-19, and that a new approach would have to be implemented.

John revealed “We live in very uncertain times at the moment and we know how vital it is for amateur teams to rely on sponsors, but we didn’t feel comfortable asking companies for huge amounts of money to help us.”

“We came up with the idea of The Glenvale 100 Club Wall where we will post and publish companies who donate £100 to the club. In return, we will invite all our sponsors to the end of season Player of the Year awards and provide them with some hospitality.”

“So far the response has been great and we are very much grateful for the companies who have donated to us.”
