Another three-weeks of restrictions imposed by the Scottish Government has hit 11 Councils and left Amateur League clubs kicking their heels once more – including first-season Colville Park E AFC Manager Kenny Henderson.
Their stop-start-stop spell of pre-season training ran alongside being unable to work with a squad put together for the club’s re-entry into the Spark of Genius Central Scottish AFL. Early defeats – highlighted by individual errors – could not be addressed during Monday and Wednesday evening training sessions at Dalziel Park.
Said Kenny “I am really missing being out on the training pitch working with the lads. We covered a lot of work and I just hope it doesn’t go to waste when we get the final all-clear.
“So far we have managed to keep all the players on board.” Colville Park were still recruiting new signings when the Government call was made to stop competitive fixtures after 3rd October.
As of 6pm tonight ( Friday) Tier-4 restrictions commence and will remain in place until Friday, 11th December.
