Clubs in the GCFA are being to consider the options of a delay to starting the new season until January – which would allow for more training sessions and friendlies by way of preparation for competitive fixtures.

The GCFA could follow the lead of the Scottish Amateur Football League, who this month revealed they would delay their campaign until Saturday, 9th January, but would allow their clubs the opportunity to organise start-back friendlies.
