Sky On Cloud Nine After Opening Day Victory

Nine goals on the opening day of the Fife Sunday League season was enough to elevate Sky AFC to the top of the West Division at the expense of Athletico.

Lochore Castle also racked up a clean sheet against hosts The Bruce Arms, whose defence was opened up four times. There was a third shut-out at Cowdenbeath United, who beat Dunfermline Town 3-0, while Yeoman defeated Rosyth Sundays 5-3.

FC Brig sit atop of the East Division following a good 5-1 win at Weavers, and White Heather were not far behind them by virtue of a 4-1 success away to Kirkland Bar. CISWO beat Bayview Thistle 5-3 and Kingdom Rovers returned from their journey to Fife Arms with the points and a 3-1 victory in the bag.
