Nine goals scored in two games have pushed Riverside CSC ahead of the Dundee Saturday Morning AFL Premier Division. Having crushed visitors Bank Street 5-1 on the opening day of their season, Riverside came away from their Saturday journey to Stobswell with a 4-2 win.
Just behind ( only one) on goal difference and maintaining their unbeaten start are Cairdy Thistle, who hosted a 4-2 victory against Occidental. Dryburgh Athletic are third following a 2-2 home draw against fourth placed Fintry. And spare a thought for bottom-markers and still pointless Dundee North End Amateurs after two outings. They started with a 4-0 home defeat to Dryburgh, and lost 6-2 at Charlie Accies on Saturday.
Dropping into Division 1 and The Maidens have full points after two games. No fewer than three clubs have a 6-point maximum in Division 2. Craigie have plus 15 goals, Dundee Thistle lie just behind (plus 10) and Sporting Club of Tayside ( plus 9 ) are very much in the frame.
