Vale of Clyde Saturday Morning AFC officials have praised the amount of individual player sponsorships that have been forthcoming as they prepare for their first season in the SSMAFL.
Individual people ( male and female), The McCann Family Foundation, a Driving School, and even the nearby Tollcross Bowling Club – situated over adjoining houses at one end of their Fullarton Park base – feature on the impressive list of 22 backers.
Co-Manager David Andrews is eagerly awaiting their debut under the famous Tin Pail banner. He said: “All players are new to the club. We thought it would take longer to gel together, but we as a team have hit the ground running and the start of the season can’t come quick enough.”
“The support from everyone involved with individual player backing has been incredible.”
“I’d like to give a special mention to our sponsors for this season, who have very kindly donated towards our match kits and teamwear.”
“The McCann Family Foundation, who do so much work for multiple Charities and their local community, and The Kick Mental Health Charity. They hold various meetings and events to greatly promote talking openly about Mental Health as well as maintaining physical wellbeing.”
“We are proud to have these two worthy sponsors on our club merchandise for the foreseeable future.”
