High-flying Glasgow Harp will be aiming to secure another Caledonian League Premier Division victory on Saturday and that could spell trouble for Dalziel HSFP at Allan Glens.
While Harp were putting the first points of the season on the board via their 10-1 win over visitors Glasgow University. Dalziel hosted a 4-2 defeat against Wishaw Wycombe Wanderers.
Glasgow Harp never looked back after Alexander Amos scored seven minute double against the University lads.
Andrew McEwan bagged a hat-trick, Dean Wilson helped himself to a double, while Pat Walker, Ryan O’Donnell and Craig Scott weighed in with singles for the glorious ten!
Milngavie Wanderers scored three at Dumbarton Academy through Fraser Campbell, Campbell Fergus and Daniel Bihar, but that wasn’t enough for even a share of the points after they conceded a fourth goal. Now they have a chance to get back off the ropes when Strathclyde University, who went down 3-0 against Stenhousemuur Community, arrive for their 2pm kick-off.
In Division One, all eyes will be focused on the final score coming out from Kilsyth AFC v Finnart. The hosts kicked off their campaign with a 4-1 defeat against Milton, while their Bridgeton-based opponents put 11 goals past Holytown Colts.
