McBride Bags Winner in Five Goal Baillieston Thriller

Paul McBride was the toast of his Baillieston Thistle team mates and Manager Alan Lindsay with the winning goal in a 3-2 friendly against Crosslands United.

Like every club throughout the country, Thistle have not kicked a competitive ball since March and afterwards boss Lindsay told me “Was a great game. I was delighted with the performance and getting the win thanks to goals from Richie Robertson, Aldo Cairns and Paul McBride’s winner.”

“The match was a good test for us against a team who play in the division above us. Overall, it was just great to get back.”
