Netherton Football Club have revealed Jim and Declan Robert will be back together on the touchline next season.
Their partnership was interrupted during the second half of 2019-2020, when assistant Boss Declan, son of Manager Jim, had to step down due to other commitments.
Said Declan: “Tony Ward is also in the Assistant Manager’s role, Danny Adam (coach) and we have a new additional coach, Chris Corcoran, who joins us from Holytown after they folded.”
Over four months of Covid 19 restrictions has not stopped Netherton planning ahead. Former players Declan Reid and Adam Kinvan are back in the fold after previously leaving due to work commitments.
A hat-trick of new signings have been finalised in goalkeeper Duncan Ward, defender Kieran Dooley and midfielder Connall Muldoon.
RJM Sports Ltd (Grangemouth) have been confirmed as official kit and training wear suppliers. The SSMAFL club have attracted sponsors, Wishaw-based Cross Keys Inn/ Pub (Home Kit), Tartan Tandoori Indian Takeaway (Away Kit), plus Wellcoat Joinery and Wallcladding (Training Kit).
Netherton are aiming to return to full contact training on August 25 in preparation for warm-up games against Clelland Amateurs (September 12),. Craigneuk (September 19), Glebe Hibernian (September 26), Newmains Hammers( October 3), and Carluke Hotspur a week later.
