Around The Amateur Football Clubs

Writer Tom Scott has been taking a look around at what is happening with snippets of news from some clubs.

Dumbarton AFC are hoping to organise friendlies during September on Saturday mornings. The Glasgow and District League club would prefer 10am kick-offs.

Barrhead AFC boss Paul Adams has revealed they will feature a “Thank you NHS” logo on a new away kit. The logo will appear on the right-hand side sleeve and is their way of showing appreciation to NHS staff stretched in many areas during Covid 19.

Colville Park EAFC have organised three September away friendlies against Neilston, Motherwell Thistle and New Farm Lochside over a two-week timespan.

Bearsden AFC have appointed David Sutherland as their Social Media Manager. Meanwhile, Team Manager Kevin McGroarty continued his recruitment programme by signing three players including highly rated 24 year-old striker Ryan Brown.
